Robert Tarjan was a computer scientist that had made Data Structures and Network Algorithms in 1983, Tarjan earned a bachelor’s degree in 1969 for mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and then got master’s degree in 1971, doctorate in 1972 in computer science from Stanford University. After completing his studies. Tarjan had held appointments at Cornell University from 1972 to 1973, the University of California, Berkeley 1973 to 1975, Stanford University 1974 to 1980, New York University l98l to 85, and Princeton University 1985. Tarjan had also worked in industry for Bell Laboratories in 1980 to 1989, NEC Research Institute 1989 to 1997, Intertrust Technologies Corporation 1997 to 2001 and 2014, the Hewlett-Packard Company from 2002 to 13.
